Why is it ok for Kamala and Walz to lie?

Fox host says:
'Amber Thurman's family is come out with a press call and they are doing a pre-buttal to our town hall right now"
Trump: Oh, that is nice.
Falkner: Oh yeah...
Trump: We will get better ratings

Kamala posts a lie:

It is Kamala's lie ok because
Kamala's is lying about Trump?
Lying about Fox news?
Lying about the GA heartbeat law?
Lying about this poor woman's cause of death?

You know, you might be right about Kamala copying Trump.

She was copying policies....and even trying to claim she did/will do them.

Again, now it's not just policies she's copying. As I have explained before, I would vote for a rabid raccoon before I would vote for Trump, so don't expect me to excuse anything. That's MAGA behavior.

I am not trying to get you to vote Trump....you never convert the person you are debating with online.  It is about defending your position and knowing there are others who may not have their mind made up, who are reading the thread and looking for information.

So is this Kamala lie okay as well?
Claiming she will do something Trump did years ago?  This post was edited by my2cents at October 20, 2024 7:16 AM MDT

You meme is pretty funny. But it forgot the part about using the military to round up the radical left, like Pelosi and Schiff on the Republican agenda.

She also lied about creating a department to monitor your pregnancy.  And yes, she lies about using the military to attack the left. Etc.

I said there were more lies, I can't list them all.

Kamala stretches the truth ONCE and the Trumpicans are all mea culpa about it.
Their idol lies several times an hour ...

    Once?
She has been flipping and flopping  all over the place.
Kamala has lied about Trump's positions on abortion,  on IVF, on P2025, on tarriffs,  etc.
Kamala lied claiming the CEO of Goldman Sachs said her ecominc plan would grow the economy and shrink prices.
Kamala lied about US troops currently serving overseas in combat zones.

    There is more.....

Then we have Walz who lies about everything for his entire life, from his military rank, to where he served, to when he was in China, what fertility treatments he and his wife used, to being head couch of a state championship high school team

Again there is so much more....

"Then we have Walz who lies about everything for his entire life . . . "

I desire to see proof that every single word, every single thing, that Walz has spoken for his entire life has been a lie. Every word since his conception.

    ;)

Yes, humor intended, but in some ways, this example, I believe, is how all of us humans (politicians or not) can then be misinterpreted.

He is not misinterpreted,  his is not misspeaking, and it is not bad grammar.
He lies and his miltary service (stolen valor), there is so much more.  It is crazy.

My point is you said he has lied about "everything" for his "entire life"- - with those words, that means you meant that every single thing he has ever said, always, for his entire life, has been a lie.

My intended point was that I don't think you actually meant that. My point is that with the words you used, you could be misinterpreted.

    Yes I see your point.

And that can explain once.   But he continues to repeat the same lies.  Without correcting it for decades.

A military rank is clear what rank you had.  You know if you were deployed or not. You either recieved that award or you did not. You used IVF or not. You were either at Tenimon (sp)  Square or you were not.
These are yes or no things not mispeak or grammar.

Lying is not good, yes. According to one article I read, he has since admitted he misspoke about Square. And there are a lot of other details involved with some of the other lying accusations stories that I've read.

And, yes, I see other politicians (yes, one in particular) also lie and do and say many other things I find offensive, over and over; they do and say things I find offensive.

Maybe lying, and many other offensive words and actions are all okay for some citizens if their supporting citizens agree with the lying offensive politicians' policies.

( I tire of the purposely divisive nature of some candidates - - for me, it's time we as a country work together. As a country, I think we'd do better to drop the Us vs.Them attitudes.
Yes, I'm going off-topic. Pink Floyd came to mind. I admit I don't even know the true intent of the song, I like the title and the song and album.)

    "Us And Them"

    Wasn't the right
    Absolutely in the right
    Why does anyone do anything?
    Just tell me
I don't know, I was really drunk at the time!

Us (Us, us, us, us, us) and them (Them, them, them, them)
And after all, we're only ordinary men

Me (Me, me, me, me, me) and you (You, you, you, you, you)
God only knows it's not what we would choose to do (To do, to do, to do)

"Forward!" he cried from the rear
    And the front rank died
The general sat and the lines on the map
    Moved from side to side

Black (Black, black, black, black) and blue (Blue, blue, blue, blue)
And who knows which is which and who is who (Is who, is who, is who, is who)

Up (Up, up, up, up, up) and down (Down, down, down, down)
And in the end it's only round and round (round, round, round), and round (round, round, round, round)

"Haven't you heard it's a battle of words?"
    The poster bearer cried
"Listen, son," said the man with the gun
    "There's room for you inside"

I mean, they're not gonna kill ya
So like, if you give 'em a quick short, sharp, shock
    They won't do it again
Dig it? I mean, he got off lightly
    'Cause I would've given him a thrashing
    I only hit him once!
It was only a difference of right and wrong, innit?
But really, I mean good manners don't cost nothing, do they, eh?

Down (Down, down, down, down) and out (Out, out, out, out)
It can't be helped, but there's a lot of it about

With (With, with, with, with), without
And who'll deny it's what the fighting's all about? (About, about, about, about?)

Out of the way, it's a busy day
I've got things on my mind
For want of the price of tea and a slice
    The old man died

Post it as your own question and at least bother to post the supposed lies.  You know I will answer.

But I am discussing Kamala and Walz on this question.

The link is to a list too long to post. And probably too long for you to read. Harris and Walz can lie all they want as far as I'm concerned. It's a clear choice between them and fascism.

Can't argue with that. Stopping a fascist from being elected should be everyone's priority. But it doesn't mean that the job ends there. There has always been an undercurrent of fascism in America and we have to continue to be on guard against it. Trump is not the problem,  he is a symptom of the problem.

Trump/MAGA are not the one attacking political opponents,  Trump/MAGA not the one censoring citizens, Trump/MAGA are not the ones talking about price controls, Trump/MAGA are not the ones spying on Amerians and political opponents.  Trump/MAGA do not vote blue (red) no matter who.
It was not Trump/MAGA who rioters and burnt cities for repeatedly.

Totalitarianism is absolutely MAGA - it wasn't Harris who told a church that if they voted for her, they wouldn't have to again. If Trump gets in, there will be no election in 2028 unless he dies first. He SAID that.
Trump's platform isn't "Put America First", it's "Put ME First". This post was edited by Slartibartfast at October 25, 2024 7:15 AM MDT
