Discussion»Questions»Current Events and News» Fanni Willis and her entire office removed from the 2020 GA election cases. Do you think the cases continue or be dropped?
Her entire office WAS NOT removed from the case. When are you going to get your facts straight?
"The Georgia Court of Appeals has removed Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from the prosecution of the election interference case against President-elect Donald Trump and his allies
The ruling did not dismiss the indictment, which means that Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia will need to find another prosecutor to take over the case. That prosecutor will then be able to decide if the case will go further."
My link was updated today. What's the date on your link? Apparently, you don't understand what "the indictment against Trump still stands" means. But feel free to argue because that's what you do.
EDIT TO ADD LANGUAGE FROM THE COURT'S ORDER:
"In the absence of express statutory authorization, dismissal of an Iindictment “generally cannot be imposed absent a violation of a constitutional right.”(Citation and punctuation omitted.) Id. While this is the rare case in which DA Willisand her office must be disqualified due to a significant appearance of impropriety, we cannot conclude that the record also supports the imposition of the extreme sanctionof dismissal of the indictment under the appropriate standard. See Olsen v. State, 302Ga. 288, 293-294 (2) (806 SE2d 556) (2017); Lamb v. State, 267 Ga. 464, 465-466 (5)(479 SE2d 719) (1997). We therefore affirm the trial court’s denial of the appellants’motion to dismiss.
All three judges on the appeals court are Republicans (surprise), but it's important to note what the dissenting judge Benjamin Land actually said. At least one of them put the Law above politics. If his name wasn't Donald J Trump he'd be in jail already.
The original judge should have thrown her off the case. And she should be disbarred for lying under oath in court. She and Wade are still dating. When her kid was pulled over not long ago, guess who showed up at the scene? Both of them in the same car.
If his name wasn't Trump, he would never have been charged to start with.

He tried to get a hammer lock on Raffensperger. That's beyond question and absolutely a criminal offence with jail time as a MINIMUM sentence if convicted.
He wanted the fraud and abuse of the election investigated and fixed. That is not illegal, that is the job of the President to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution.
Find the fraud....there is no way he lost GA by 11,000 votes. FIND IT.
I listened to the entire call. And there was nothing wrong with the call at all. We should investigate EVERY allegation of voter fraud. And all fraudsters should go to prison.
He lost, so he made a completely baseless allegation of fraud. There wasn't any. There were a few very minor irregularities (accidental errata) that happen in every election, none of them significant enough to have any effect on the result. Most of those errors turned out to have been in his favour, he lost even more bigly on the recount. He then instigated a riot to try to prevent Congress from ratifying that result - that's treason and one of the very few crimes that is still a capital offense in DC.

Ballot machines connected to the internet, ballots scanned more than once, ballots without chain of custody, boxes of ballots pulled out from under the tables after they purposely sent the observers. Dead people and illegals voting. This is all a problem and people should be in prison for it.
These cases are done. Trump and the other defendants cases will be dropped. But those actions should still be investigated and the fraudsters should go to prison.
Every election should be investigated and all fraudsters should go to prison.
The Dems caused Jan 6. Who benefited from it? The Dems...not Trump.
