    Christmas,  nope.

    Disney, yes.

I don't mind the Christmas stuff and I don't pay attention to any of the Disney crap.  What bothers me more is that 3/4 of what is on my cable offerings are sports.  I have no interest in any sport and I'm sure that if sports coverage was a separate tier, my cable bill would be half of what it is.

Your answer made me think of possibly my favorite popular Christmas tune that Dwight Yoakam wrote and sang -- "Come On Christmas"

The song is so depressing and sad to me --  and soo beautiful to me, too. His lyrics are very poetic and poignant to me.

His voice is great here. And that understated trumpet solo.

blahblah - - I go on a lot. I've posted y admiration for this song a lot on the site over  the years. :)

No way I won’t have enough of Christmas until January 6th. Then I’ll start celebrating Ukrainian Christmas which lasts until January 19th. Cheers and happy Holidays!

I am not subjected to the crappy stuff.  I hate anything Disney but sometimes the only way to see the game I wish to see is on Disney.    I have listened to a lot of music related to the birth of Christ.  I'm sharing one of my favorites.  This is a concert in Nashville.  Tommee Profitt is outstanding.

I've not heard of Kerr before, I believe.
His voice is wonderful to me. And his diction is out of this world. Many singers could take notice of Mr. Kerr's ability to cohesively sing a language. :)
And his play on words is cool, too.

    Edit: 'signers' to 'singers'  :)

    Oh little town of Salisbury*
How still we see thee lie
    When in thy alcoholic sleep
    You've drunk the Eureka¤ dry ...

    * the suburb of Adelaide I live in
¤ the name of the local pub

Thankfully we get Bluey via the ABC, so my granddaughter isn't beholden to Walt for her favourite show.

Merry Grinchmas to all, and to all a Bah Humbug.

    a)  No

    b) As a young boy, Disney brought me a life-changing, life-bettering musical moment in my life - -
when I was a young boy, Disney brought me Mary Poppins and her singing "Feed the Birds" - - my favorite song and favorite scene in the whole movie.
For those moments, Disney will never be crap to me.  :)
