What won’t Trump supporters be able to say about his 2nd term?

Trump supporters like to say that he was the only US president that didn’t start a war.

But I don’t think they will be able to say that this time because he will likely start a few wars this time. And I imagine his supports will start saying things like – Trump was the only US president with cojones big enough to start 3 wars. Cheers and happy weekend!

    They claimed that last time too....but Trump did not start any wars.  He in fact fired people who tried to get him to start wars.

    Yes, well, last time, he wasn't trying to take over Greenland, the Panama Canal, Canada and the Gaza strip.

    He did talk about Greenland last time. 
    We are not taking Canada that is just leverage for bargaining.  (And has been working)
    Panama has also agreed the China company's contract will not be renewed.  
    We will not own Gaza we will have investors rebuild it. Egypt and Jordan are also wanting in on the investment.  And we will remove the terrorists who were attacking Israel.

    Canada and Mexico merely have agreed to that which they negotiated with Biden previously,  nothing new - no fantastic deal by Trump.  You're right, we will not own Gaza because neither Jordan nor Egypt will take in the Gazans.  The Gazans would rather live in rubble than give up their homeland.  It is not up to us to remove the terrorists.  I don't want to see one American soldier on Gaza soil.  If you do, then maybe you should encourage your son to join the military and volunteer to go there.

    I don't think so.  But even if that were the case, Trump made them follow through with it.
    As far as Gaza goes....I don't believe they will have the option to live in the rubble.  If Egypt or Jordan refuse the refugees then they do not get to invest. 
    My sons can choose to do whatever they want in llife. I would be proud of them if they decided to defend the US or Israel. This post was edited by my2cents at February 7, 2025 2:42 PM MST

    Canada does not look at the things Trump says as just leverage tactics. But I must omit that sometimes we do find him hilarious – like when he said that if Canada joined the US they would have better health care – we laughed and we laughed and we laughed.

    Although he's already angering many of our allies, more than likely the war he'll start first is a civil war - especially when enough of the American people get fed up with his lordship's stupidity (as well as that of his viceroy, president musk) and try to oust him ahead of his "time".

    Trump supporters are cheering.   We will see if the Dem leaders can get people on the left to start that civil war...I doubt it.  So far, they have failed.

    Trump may claim he never started an actual war, but he ordered many, many military actions and escalated existing wars.. His order to assassinate Soleimani, could easily have started a full-scale war.
