What if Obama did the things Trump is doing?

    Maybe he should have done those things. But it's true, his own party would have stopped him, not enabled him.

    There was a time when the Republican party had some ethics.  They encouraged Richard Nixon to resign and rightfully so.  Today's GOP would have encouraged him to go even further.  That is the GOP today - no ethics, no spine to oppose Trump's draconian executive orders, no doing what's best for the country - only what's best so they can be re-elected.

    (I remember at the time thinking that Mr. Nixon dealt, publicly, with his self-created predicament in a professional manner, I question how the current president may have behaved.)

    He would ever have resigned.  He would have dug in his heels and it would have been up to Congress to impeach him.

    Obama arrested and prosecuted a Fox News reporter. 
    Obama passed a law that did punish people who did not participate in Obama care. 
    Obama deported more than Trump has....no trial just returned to Mexico. 

    Non citizens do not have the same rights as US citizens. They are here with our permission (or they are illegal)  They do not get to come here and support terrorist organizations and think they get to stay.
