Got a beef about Trump’s BBB?

The Bill will allocated $85 million to transport the Discovery space shuttle from the Smithsonian’s Air and Space Museum to Space Center Houston.
The Smithsonian and others say there is risk of damage by moving the space shuttle and they estimated it will actually cost more than $300 million to transport Discovery when accounting for costs such as constructing a new facility at Space Center Houston for the shuttle and creating an alternative museum display at the Smithsonian. Garrett Reisman, a former astronaut who flew on the Discovery, also voiced his concerns about the transfer, calling it “ludicrous and unnecessary. I would much rather see that money invested in NASA’s science program”.

I don’t think it is all about bringing the shuttal home (like the bill claims) I think it is all about taking away from blue states and giving to red states.

Cheers!

Here is my beef: Lying about what's in the bill. The amount of tax on Social Security has not changed. There is an additional temporary deduction for seniors with modified adjusted gross income less than $75K. It does not change the amount owed, but rather lowers the amount of income that is taxed by $6K. This deduction expires in 2028. There are other misrepresentations, but I'll start with this.

This might sound like crazy talk but maybe Trump’s BBB might have a beautiful side to it.

By the time mid terms happen Americans will have suffered for over a year because of Trumps bill and the cuts he made to agencies and programs. So a lot of republicans senators might lose their seats in the house and senate – and that would be a beautiful start.

A lot of people/kids just died in Texas and it could be because of Trumps gutting the sever weather warning agency. That should be an alarm to all Americans that Trump’s presidency is a danger to America.

    Cheers!

The cuts to the agencies have not even taken place yet.

Floods happen. This is not the first time it has flooded there and will not be the last.

Uh... Your statement of "A lot of people/kids just died in Texas and it could be because of Trumps gutting the sever weather warning agency." isn't quite true.
It was an MCV (Mesoscale Convective Vortex) that caused the devastation in Texas.  At our current level of weather predictability, it's next to impossible to forecast the exact location of an MCV - no matter how much manpower or money one has (too many variables have to be exactly right for formation).  We are able to somewhat predict a generalized area where one (or more) MAY form.  While NOAA knew that the formation of MCVs were possible in Texas, there was no way for them to know exactly where (or even if) it would form.

Please note: I am NOT standing up for trump, rather for NOAA.

The problem I have with such a move is that it will cost millions of dollars - dollars we don't seem to have for food, housing, medical care, etc. for the American people.

With parts of it, yes.  Gutting Medicaid and SNAP just to make the rich richer will not only lead to more homelessness, but it may well cause more deaths.  While I do not believe that illegal migrants should be receiving Medicaid or SNAP, many people who are (legitimately) on these programs, wont be able to stay on them - despite what the "president" and other republicans claim.

It's only a BBB for trump and the wealthy - NOT for average Americans.

You probably know this, but undocumented immigrants cannot get SNAP or Medicaid benefits. If they are receiving medical or nutritional assistance it would be at the state level.

Some of what the bill is doing is adding more bureaucracy and paperwork requirements which will have the effect of driving people off benefits,  while technically not cutting benefits.

I do know that.  Unfortunately, here in California they are getting both benefits (via the state, which is now raising our state taxes to help cover the cost) - which I am vehemently against.
I'm afraid that the "bureaucracy and paperwork" will drive more people to be homeless (especially in this state), or "force" them to work in jobs that will make then unable to claim benefits (there are already strict requirements) but will give them no benefits (not enough money to feed family AND pay medical as well as housing costs) as employers are not required (here) to offer benefits if they don't meat certain requirements (which they painstakingly stay below).

A work requirement is not to much to ask a healthy work aged person....it is only 20 hrs a week.

Americian seniors,  disabled, children etc are not endanger of losing Medicaid.
