Nope, you Welby are not even close to a Luntic.

I don't believe you celebrated anyone's death. And certainly did not participate in any political violence.

We absolutely did know about the murderer's ideology at the time. His Mother said he was left wing arguing with the family more and more as he was ingulfed in the left. Even specifically saying he hated Charlie Kirk. He has a trans boyfriend who is also a furry. (We now know he has 2 trans furry boyfriends) We knew what he engraved in the ammo shells.  2 had Antifa themes, 1 had to do with a forum on a gaming website and another referenced a furry meme.   These are all things that tell us he is a leftist.  And given that he is an assassin,  he is a "lunatic leftist."

Kimmel knew this and lied blatantly. And his bosses fired (removed indefinitely) him after he refused to issue an apology but planned to go further with his attacks on MAGA conservatives.

Thanks for the further research.  I do believe Nexstar is using this to curry favor.  Makes me wonder just how long the powers that be are going to let Trump get away with this nonsense.

Trump did not fire Kimmel, the market fired Kimmel. Why did Sinclair do it?

Money. Kimmel had crap ratings. And advertisers complained to their local affiliates.

According to the Nielsen ratings the most recent round of numbers for Kimmel were positive. He moved slightly ahead of rival The Late Show with Stephen Colbert among adults ages 18-49 – the key demographic for advertisers. So Kimmel and Colbert will have the last laugh when companies stop buying add space. Cheers and happy weekend!

Every TV show has a ratings decline because of the shift to online viewing and streaming. A lot of viewers, myself included, watch Kimmel on YouTube where he has 20M subscribers. I don't watch much television, so I'm not going to pay for cable.

I bet the net works are starting to realize they made a big mistake and they will ask both hosts to come back. But both hosts will tell them to pound salt. And I won’t blame them – both hosts made the studios lots of money for many years. Cheers and happy weekend!

Colbert has been losing $40 million for years.
Kimmel's comment was losing them money. Advertisers were calling and that makes the owners take notice. And Kimmel had less than half the viewers Colbert has.  His show was most likely loosing money as well.  But the costs for Kimmel's show has not been made public.
I believe if he was making money ABC/Disney would have fought harder to keep him on.

I don’t think that is the reason – I think this is the reason.

PS: Trump has to wear suspenders with his diapers because they are so full of BS.

Nope. The owners of the local affiliates fired him from their stations and Kimmel's refusal to try and smooth it over with a fake apology  caused main ABC/Disney to dismiss  him.

The loss to these companies if there mergers are not approved is probably more than the loss from canceling the shows.
Colbert 's contract was not renewed , but Kimmel still has a contract and I don't know how that all plays out. Each of the shows employs a couple hundred people, and a decent guy like Kimmel will be looking out for them. I have no idea what will happen next. But in a week we'll be on to the next deflection from you know what.

I just saw an ad for Kimmel’s new show called On Brand. I don’t think he will ever be out of work no matter how hard Trump try’s. He is also suing the network for wrongful dismissal. Cheers!

There is a lot of AI stuff online right now regardingthis situation. I wouldn't believe anything unless I know and trust the source. But I do agree Kimmel will do just fine and I hope all the other people on his show will be OK.

The powers that be will let Trump get away with this nonsense until it effects their bottom line. Boycotts would be a good start. Even if Trump takes the broadcasting licenses from everbody in the US that dosen’t suck up to him - there will always be places where they can broadcast from – Canada for example. I was thinking about the UK and Pirate radio today. When the British government tried to silence rock and roll in the 60's the real powers that be (the people) found ways to make sure it lived on. There is a movie called Pirate Radio and I highly recommend it.Cheers and happy weekend!

Freedom of speech is about the government regulation on speech.

But your boss and his/her opinion on your speech matters.
People are still free to speak it, but none of us are free from the consequences.

The more I learn about him. The more I realize the country lost a great conservative leader and likely a future President.

Many people are returning to church because of Charlie and many are not willing to be scared into silence.
