@Ranpolage, no Mexican food. It was traditional southern cuisine. We ordered a variety of dishes and tried a bit of each. Here are a few of our dishes: 1. Spicy carmelized Italian meatballs. 2. Crispy pork belly with a sauce. 3. Pulled beef steak with another spicy sauce that had pecans, arugula, and roasted butter squash. 4. Creamed onion soup with a biscuit on top. Desserts: 1. Chocolate cake. 2. Apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream on top. Restaurant has 3 chefs. Food to die for. And drinks. I had ice tea. Needless to say, everything was amazing!
Well there are ways to cover issues. Once someone has made a statement and both agree to it, saying more is beating a dead horse.
But with music? We are not playing the same vid. We are playing a few different ones from artists we really want to hear. This is our site and we can do what we want. I learned that from Jerry Springer show from a petulant 12 year old.
@Thriftymaid: 1. Not driving. 2. Not ignoring anyone. Only posted 2 questions on the road. The road was too bumpy. Besides, there is too much to see in downtown Houston. I always text on trips when I have the opportunity. I can multitask very well.
@Thriftymaid, I sometimes live in the city. It depends what is going on. I've been looking for a place, but meanwhile I stay with different friends. So I move around. Some friends live in the city. Some, in suburbs. I travel quite a bit too, so at times, I'm on the road. I was gone all summer long.
@S., guess I've been too wrapped up in this election. I was happy to listen to a few Christmas songs. Haven't been out shopping lately. Probably because I have all the art supplies I need for now. I should be working on something, but I just want to write. Thanks for the song! Bring in the joy of the holidays!
