Hmm. Now that depends on what we use to measure unforgettable. People can be unforgettable in a lot of ways.

  • True, that. I attended a group at which we were asked to name the most interesting person we'd met in the past twelve months. The facilitator, a woman, pointed out a little testily that I was the only person who had nominated a woman. (I understood her response but her outburst as a little startling.) She asked for my reasons and I explained that this woman, whom I had met the month before at a workshop, had worked out three different ways of disposing of her husband's body after she murdered him.

I didn't think you could get much more interesting than that.

  • I thought you'd have nominated Trump. You certainly remember him in your questions. :)

  • I have been lucky to have met many unforgettable people.. perhaps that's just me.. perhaps i form deeper connections in my mind... I don't know...

But if I had to choose one.... it would be a guy called Andy... he's someome who even if we don't communicate for years just feels *right* whenever we do talk. He never judges me, likes and accepts me happy or sad, thoghtful or silly.. I could write pages about what he has done for me.. but he literally saved me... He made me who i am today... and gave me bullet proof confidence...

There have been others... Susanna is one... I wont ever forget Sam... Shaun was impressive...Richard... well he was my soul mate.. Dave I could never forget tho what he taught me I'd rather not have learned...Jim, someone I really thought and hoped I'd lost came back into my life today, we share a long, long past... Julie... she was an inspiration... several Andrews have been very important to me...

See so many.. but if I had to choose it would be Andy, closely followed by Susanna..

  • You've been lucky in your relationships which leads me to believe that your friends are lucky to know you, too. You don't get that many good friends if you haven't earned them.

Ted he was a good friend to me and my family and I will never forget him or all his stories about travailing the 7 seas and his Merchant Marian war adventures. He also really knew history so he was interesting to talk to. Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at December 6, 2016 6:02 PM MST

  • For me, it is my deceased Grandmother.  An incredible lady who had a heart of gold and taught me more than words can ever describe.  She really was one of those ladies that everyone thought highly of that met her.  I know that's easy for me to say, yet it's true.  She was an incredibly selfless person and  had great amount of empathy and just liked to talk to people and share ideas and stories.   I miss her dearly. It's interesting. Many of the qualities you describe about your Grandmother were also possessed by Harley (The Best Dog Ever), although he was much less talkative...;-D...

  • Zack, sometimes it's enough just to say the name. Especially a name like Gabby. (I've only met one and she was special too.)

  • Uncle Fester. Boy, he could play that fiddle like no tomorrow, and his farts would put the wind in the sails of the sail boats, when we would go down to the lake for our monthly baths. Image result for redneck playing flute with nose pics He'd fry up the best roadkill Image result for fried roadkill pics ya ever did have, and could play a flute with his nose like a pro. Now that I think of it, I've never seen anyone else do that.
