Yes! It's the Polar Bear Plunge! Yay!

Every year my hubby and I take a trip to Colorado to do the Polar Bear Plunge on New Year's Day except this year it's on the 7th and last year it got cancelled :(

We skip the one at home because we both have family in Colorado so we get to visit them and the charity that runs the Polar Bear Plunge where I live makes it too much of a hassle to join.

I've been doing the Polar Plunge since I was 13 but it wasn't always on New Year's Day.

I'm not doing much but I do have a tradition I would like to share. On New years eve I put a a couple slices of bread and a bit of money on a plate and put it outside. Then on New Years day I bring it in the house - it's suppose to represents food and money coming into the home in the New Year. Cheers and happy New Year!
