Wow, that is a lot. I hope they were all 'bad guys' caught in crimes.  I lived in a bad area once or twice, and I can tell you there are some nasty people out there. They deserve to be killed by police or whoever. Some get away with crime after crime, and the police are waiting for them to slip up. BANG! (watch the "Death Wish' movie series)

Ah,  I see. So you're in favor of abolishing due process, trial by jury, the right to representation and so forth. Let's just have angry people with guns decide who is guilty.

    Seems legit.

Sometimes a bad guy kills and harms many people and  doesn't deserve freedom. Why should law-abiding citizens have to be terrorized by these bad guys?

True bh. But unarmed young black guys whom they shoot in the back as the young unarmed black guy is running away? I find it hard to believe that a guy  running away who has no weapon was a bad guy and was terrorizing anyone at the time he was shot in the back multiple times while running for his life. :(

Way back when I was a little kid cops were seen as the good guys. If you were in trouble or needed help just find a policeman and he would be the best guy to trust to help you. It's not that way any more. It's too bad. I wonder if it will ever be that way again? Thank you for your reply pearl! :)

Approx 140 officers were killed and 14,000 assaulted with injuries.
I am sure you could follow up with your research, you could determine how many were legal shootings and how many were not.
Looks like about 7 officers were charged in 2015. Numbers for 2016 maybe too early.

Once again you did not answer the question I asked m2c. Once again you are using the typical pro-cop anti-young unarmed black guy approach as many of your politically like-minded people invariably and inevitably do. I expect that from them. They are unable to answer the question I ask so they configure one they can and give that. Which is like giving me sand when I thirst for water. I can't use it. Thank you. Maybe next time you'll stick to question I asked and give me an answer to that? One hopes.

I did answer for 2015. The numbers are not available for 2016.
