No way! Paleface paid $24 in costume jewelry for Manhattan Island. Actually, America has been giving back the rights to build casinos to the Red Man. That is a sort of protected profit center. Various tribe members get a nice check even though they don't work at the casino. My wife is part Cherokee, but she isn't in the money.
That bird has flown a long time ago, honey. It's dead by now. If they repopulate it will be with the rest of us. Soon we will all be a nation of coffee-colored people who will pick something else to hate about each other and keep us separate.
And if we did, and we all followed that example backwards in time...we - all 7+ billion of us - would all end up in one place. Would that satisfy your idea of "fairness"?
No. The current United States was not occupied by a single tribe of Indians. Instead, the country as we know it was a patchwork of relatively small tribal territories. If we give any land back, it would have to be a small amount of land to each tribe.
