    YES
    It was a jungle movie
    1940 type people
going down jungle path a few people with a guide
they run into a huge spider web
    that covered the whole path
    blocking their path
    they were getting scared
...then a big spider dropped down from above
and bit one of the people on the neck
it had a big scary bite that put two big holes in this persons neck.
...I probably ran out of the house in fear at that point. lol

Yes.  I don't the name of it but always describe it when someone asks this questions, which is somewhat often.  I was very young and it was a black and white Vincent Price film.  The scene which is engraved into my memory is a line of people (undertaker, people carrying the casket, and a couple others) walking up a hill to put the casket into the ground.  The casket contains a woman and  there is a glass window at her face.  She appears to be dead but you can hear her voice saying things like I'm not dead; look at me; can't you hear me;  please don't do this; etc.  I was way too young to see it because I am now a grandmother and have avoided funerals completely until some family member passed away in the last 15 years or so.  I actually like mystery movies and books, but  nothing in my life has freaked me out like that movie.  I do wish I knew the name of it.

Mr. Happy is really into these movies.  I'll ask him when he gets home.

Just for fun, here's Ray Milland experiencing a similar fate in Premature Burial.

"Buried alive" is such a classic horror movie vehicle to keeping kids awake all night!

I think I may have seen this movie --  and, unfortunately, I don't know the title.

  • The first movie that I remember impressing me, because it had a slim chance of being real, was ...

    "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"
