That was then and now is now, we must secure our borders. why can't you understand that? it really isn't that hard. what would you do? let everyone in and hand them a welcome packet on the way in like Obama.

They have more compassion for people other than American because secretly they HATE America. America's best interest is always a second consideration for them. They want America to pay for past deeds and by that it means making up for them. This post was edited by O-uknow at January 29, 2017 4:01 AM MST

Thousands of years ago the people of the city of Troy let in a huge wooden horse and were murdered in their sleep by enemies hiding inside. Yes, the world has been down this road and it didn't turn out well. The analogy is off but so is yours. This post was edited by O-uknow at January 29, 2017 4:02 AM MST

Times change. in 1939, my mother's Jewish girlfriend was not allowed in my grandparent's house. In those days, Jews were partially blamed for the Great Depression. The media sort of, uh, 'trumped things up' to blame someone for the economic problems of that time.

Nonsense. Border control is a normal thing for any sovereign nation and it doesn't cause persecution. Just because you can find one example from history where things escalated to mass genocide means nothing.

If you really want to analyse history you should try to find one example of a POSITIVE outcome when a nation welcomed Muslims in. Can you find one example where a multicultural harmony was achieved? Does it not always result in an either a Muslim takeover or endless civil unrest?

There is not a single country in the world with a Muslim population over 10% and less than 100% that is not in conflict. Muslims don't believe in multiculturalism. They believe that everyone must submit. That's what "Muslim" means in Arabic; someone who submits. This post was edited by Zeitgeist at January 29, 2017 3:46 AM MST
