In Japan, Man is first, Woman is second that's their Society. Strange I think.
In the US Man has bullied himself over time to where he thinks it's a mans world
and acts accordingly putting a filter, if you will, on Womens rights.
So Women stand up for their equality of life. Things begin to change over time
Mans ego shrinks a bit and his awareness increases a bit and he
recognizes and realizes some of what he has been doing. Things are still changing
because a balance of equality has still not yet been reached. This
    is feminism in action imo.

  • I have a.little Sociological Theory along those lines.
    I.call.it the.Pendulum Theory of Change.
Imagine a very unequal social situation, like women's rights at the beginning of the century. That's when we let the pendulum fall. The initial momentum takes it past the equilibrium point , but it keeps going to the.too much side where other forces bring it back down. Again, on its way back, it passes the equilibrium to the other side. . . And so it goes.
Change is still happening and the pendulum on this one is.on its way back down.
    Do you see?
    Great insight Baba!!!

  • Feminism is the organised attempt to gain equality for women.

Why is it unpopular? Because it challenges male domination and the status quo; and because, inevitably, some zealots lack tact.

I don't know of anybody who put it better than Peggy Seeger who set it to music:
