  • They should be first on the list but we get most of our oil from them so.........
Saudi Arabia has the most radical Islamic State group called the Wahhabi's and they are the worst of the bunch. While the ultra rich there fund terrorism around the world. Good question as they should be at the top of any assinine list.

Actually we get most if our oil from the US and the rest of North and South America. The US produces 40% of what we use. More is imported from Canada (18%) and Mexico ( 11.4%) come in before Saudi Arabia (11%).

I think it because so many of our allies use their oil. The world economy is tied into it.

Ask Pres Obama.....it is his list.
Trump's EO expanded Obama's. Trump's EO only mentioned one country, Syria.

Nope.... it is only Obama when it is Obama. And this was Obama's list.
As I understand it Saudi Arabia helps in the war on terror and people from there are able to be vetted.

Saudi Arabia is a two-faced "ally."  They produced 16 of the 19 9/11 hijackers.  They turn a blind eye to the training camps and surreptitously fund them.  I wouldn't trust them while I was watching them.  Same with Pakistan and Afghanistan.

    Sorry, this is incorrect.

    Consider the following comparison:

Party A wants to put all Lower Elbonians who commit murder in jail.

Party B want to put all Lower Elbonians in jail.

Would you consider Party B's policy as an "expansion" of Party A's policy, or one that is fundamentally different in kind?

Here is the ACTUAL Obama list of immigrant bans:

July 25, 2011. Barred those under a UN travel ban, or who broke 29 executive orders covering transactions with terrorists.

Aug. 4, 2012. Banned anybody involved in war crimes, or just about any other crime including human rights violations.

April 23, 2012. Barred those helping Syria or Iran, or involved in human rights abuses for those governments.

May 1, 2012. Another block on those helping Iran and Syria.

April 3, 2014. Banned anyone known to threaten South Sudan.

    — March 6, 2014 . Barred entry of those claiming government authority in the Crimea region of Ukraine.

As a result of the Kentucky case, the State Department stopped processing Iraq refugees for six months in 2011, federal officials told ABC News – even for many who had heroically helped U.S. forces as interpreters and intelligence assets.

    A false comparison.

Putting someone in jail because you feel like it violates their rights. Denying someone entry to a country because you feel like it, doesn't violate anyone's rights. No foreigner has a right to enter. It's a privilege. It's a gift granted to them by our generosity. A sovereign nation can withdrawn such generosity for any reason or no reason. • What are you talking about, generosity. Who gains most, the immigrant or the state.

The state gains less than nothing from immigration of Muslims. Islam is a subversive inferior culture completely incompatible with western values. Such immigration is a liability not only culturally but also economically since most of them are just welfare parasites.

Even when immigration is of net benefit to a nation, it's still a gift because it's our country not theirs. We give to them. They give to us. Win win. Just because both sides benefit doesn't mean it's not a gift on both sides. This post was edited by Zeitgeist at January 30, 2017 1:37 PM MST

The same reason that imeadtaely after 911 the only air traffic aloud to leave the US was the ones heading for Saudi Arabia. Michael Moore explains the reason in his documentary. Cheers!
