"A dangerous sociopath" according to Tony Schwartz who co-authored Trump's book 'The Art of the Deal' 1987.
"Trump's presidency may lead to the end of civilization ".

    -From The Guardian.

  • Going by every historical example, civilization always fails and ends.  Not a single one has ever stood the test of time.
It's repeatedly been a failed experiment over and over and over again. It's a house of cards waiting for a breeze to blow it down.

Extremely. It's my belief that he could well start World War III, he's already playing a game of "my dick is bigger than your dick" with Xi Jinping over the South China Sea. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at January 31, 2017 1:18 PM MST

  • More so than his fans believe.  Less so than many of his biggest detractors believe.

People who hold political positions are as a general rule, dangerous.

  • This situation isn't new.   It's a new world for this situation but we been here as a nation before.
Andrew Jackson comes to mind. Controversial, committed grave injustices, caused widespread political division in the country, pissed off foreign powers,  by his and others admission unfit to be a President, arrogant..... Created a lot problems and even left some lingering damage and paved the way for over-bearing Federal government.
On the plus side. He did, at least for a time,  stop the bankers.

Yes, but he is in good company. He wants to surround himself with people who think like he does and get rid of any who don't.

  • A maverick with presidential power and a nuclear trigger? What could possibly be dangerous about that?

Only if you hate or intend to harm America and the democratic American way of life.  What a refreshing change.

He's chummy with a Russian despot whose minions actually did interfere with American democracy.
