It is not a total ban of Muslims. It is a ban of 7 countries which are known terrorist sponsors and that the people are next to impossible to vet at the moment.

They attack him because they don't like him, and because he wasn't their choice for prez. Boo-fricking-hoo! So now they're going to do everthing they can, Robert De Niro and Meryl Streep included, to try to stir up as much online hate as they can, so the left and slightly left will read it, and will look for any reason they can to make him out to be the next Hitler.
Now as much as the liberals don't like it, there are people who think differently to them. It's a hard pill to swallow. To some people, he's the champ. And they don't like that. Just look at the expression on this woman's face! She's so happy that Trump....the champ....the savior....has blessed her baby with the touch of his hands.
