What are some items that you have 'touch' textural issues with?

Which makes you cringe when you touch them.

For me, that would be popsicle sticks, the paper that is wrapped around crayons, and  construction paper (the stuff thats kind've ruff and grainy)-- my kindergarten teacher had a difficult time getting me to participate in arts and crafts because i would refuse to touch a lot of the materials that she would make us use xD

  • I was confused about your description for a second. The way I read it in the main page before I hit "more" looked like it said: "For me, that would be popsicle sticks, the paper that is wrapped around crayons, construction paper (the stuff thats kind've ruff and grainy), and my kindergarten teacher."

Who knew touching your kindergarden teacher was so horrific, lol!

  • Occasionally, you come across a "dead Jellyfish" on the beach.
                  They feel pretty weird!

This is an easy one: it's those dead bodies I have to handle from time to time in my, er, um, my "line of work".  Oh, and all the paraphernalia that goes along with them, the fibers from the burlap bags used to wrap them up, the splintered wooden handles of the shovel and the pick-ax, that powdery residue from the bags of lime that takes forever to wash from my skin, all of it.  Listen, if I were to slip you $200, would you mind telling anyone who asks that I was playing poker with you last Thursday evening from 7:30 pm to 2 am the next day?

  • Can't really think of any textures I don't like ... Except I hate put on jeans I've hung out on clothing line to dry cos they feel to stiffy .... I think that stiffy is correct word. I just use the drier machine then. That's fine.
