If you had a dream about me and I didn't discuss grammar in it even once, would you wake up in a cold sweat and screaming your head off? ~

A descending tilde with an asterisk on either side of it.

  • Purely from tbe angle of grammar, shouldn't it be ONE asterisk on either side?

You're absolutely right, Neelie!  Thanks for catching that!  I regret the error.

Perhaps you two haven't been properly introduced.  Neelie, this is Winged Wonder.  Wing, I'd like you to meet a dear old friend of mine, Miss Neelie.

    :)

  • WW and I are friends already. It was he who helped me to join adult network.
But thanks for the re-introduction, Randy, and hello again, WW.

Now that would be a dream come through instead you slamming your tilde in my face because of my poor grammar.

That sounds so dirty the way you wrote it. Exactly what KIND of dream about me did you have, anyway?

Hey... I'm an innocent good girl. Only pure dreams. However I never remember my dreams. But sure they are nightmares when you're around slapping that tilde in my face. What? How is this dirty?

The lack of grammar in such a dream would simply confirm that dreams are not necessarily reflective of reality.

If I dreamed about you I would definitely wake up in a cold sweat & screaming
but it would have nothing to do with grammar, or lack thereof.

Get out of my dreams Randy!  Out!  And, don't even think of getting into my car!

  • Since you mention it, I confess I did dream of you a couple of times in our Answerbag days. Grammar didn't figure in either of them, and I didn't wake up in a cold sweat either. Surprisingly you looked different in the two dreams: in one you looked somewhat like Denzel Washington, and in the other like someone unknown. They were both pleasant dreams, and I remember feeling good about them. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at February 18, 2017 1:59 PM MST

I only had a dream about you once.

I dreamed I was on Answermug and I asked  It's starting to rain!  Who's going to bring Randy inside?

In my dream it was windy with freezing light rain because I went outside to take you off the pole and bring you inside.

So congratulations Randy!  I only had one dream about AM that I remember and it was about you!  Sorry there wasn't any grammar involved lol.

  • Most of us would just be pleased if you'd leave off with the inane and fatuous grammar corrections.

Rest assured, I shall do exactly that, as soon as there are no longer any inane and/or fatuous grammar errors any more.
