I'm likely not to go through questions again that are more than a day old. I check questions on a regular and never go back through them again after having seen them the first time. I reply on the questions where I have something to add at the moment where I see them. I've got a few virgin ones myself. No harm done.
Btw, we can reply them ourselves. It will also bring them back in the loop on the news feeds. :-)
