Good morning Rosie. As I've grown older, legal is the only option (of course by choice) for me. I try to have fun & laugh every day. Most of the time I succeed but not always. Sometimes I have off days. The kind of fun I have/like is: coming onto this site, playing with/training the dog, socializing with friends, getting into conversations with complete strangers, and watching comedic shows/movies.
I laughed m'dear at the "legal is the only option". I'm still giggling. I know whatcha mean! We do too Harry. We laugh every day and have fun too. Jim's fun comes in playing golf, tennis and putzing around doing guy stuff like going to Lowe's or Home Depot or Harbor Freight. And he has the tennis and golf channels to enjoy which show tournaments worldwide. Of course I love being here on Answermug every day. I also enjoy food shopping and cooking a lot. I have some favorite channels I enjoy watching so every day in every way it's good to be alive! Thank you for your thoughtful answer. We have a cat. Tigger by name. You don't really "play" with cats. You make yourself available whenever they are the mood to be cuddly! We are very well trained that way! Happy Sunday! :)

I live in Colorado in a small community in a forested area close to the mountains. I made an awesome deal with the owner. If I help him out with keeping the community clean, mowed, and other things. He gives me a big discount on the rent of a small house in his community. Very nice guy! There is a foothill that I can run to that I can overlook the nearest city. It's soooo beautiful!!!
Oh yes, fun is an imperative on the daily docket. In fact, I chose to live in S Fla to enable that imperative year 'round. As some who are familiar with me are aware, I have a humdinger of a boat, therein lies my first option both at pleasure and of solace. Watersports, jetskis, swimming and all that. I also enjoy rollercoasters a bit too much for a person of my years, tennis and traveling. At some point one or more of these pursuits will be served on a given day.
Apart from what my mother-in-law used to euphemistically refer to as "bedroom violence" with my better half (married for nearly 28 years so perfectly legal), I play a couple of online games (play several games of Scrabble simultaneously), read fantasy, watch my favourite cricket and football teams play - and there's AM, too.
You aren't doing so bad yourself. Keep it up and I'll follow up everything I've ever said to you. The stuff all these good people haven't heard.
