When people say they're going to leave a website, such as answermug, do you believe them?

I don't. I know they'll be back, they always come back...no one can ever leave once they join....

They usually tell me that when they owe me a whole lot of money and are trying to hide. I just track them down.

Most of them do come back, especially the ones that make a big deal out of their departure. It's the ones who quietly slip away that don't.

I just think they are attention-wh*res and leave it at that.

Nope, I remember a certain mugger who dramatically flounced, saying she would not post for a while, due to the behaviour of a certain other mugger of the corvidian persuasion. She didn't last 24 hours.

I wish! The louder they are, the less I believe.

  • The ones that do it, for the most part, are not members I would miss anyways.

In a few cases I do believe them. Usually however those making it public won't be gone for long.

If a person announces their departure on the Q&A page, I do not believe them.

If I have received a personal PM I have found them to leave within a short amount of time.
