Not sure maybe when Trump wears that extra - extra long red tie it's a sign that he's in a humorous mood. What gets me is people aren't asking him questions that require a funny punch line - there asking him questions that need a serious answer. Cheers!
Ya I think I'm on to something - like when Trump gave his address to Congress he wore a tie that wasn't red and he was quite series that day. So fashion and fashion accessories could very well be the key to being able to tell if Trump is just joking around. Example of being able to tell if he is joking around: Trump is in a whimsical mood and he is being asked a hot topic question so he takes a handkerchief that matches his red tie out of his pocket and pretends to wipe the sweet off his brow then he notices that there are a bunch of handkerchiefs tied to it and he starts pulling them out of his pocket until another question is asked. Cheers!

Ahh but see that's where there is a mismatch between what the trumpeters think and reality. it ISN'T just lefts etc that think Trump is a total and utter joke and not a funny one at that.. I am well aware that the trumpeters want to *believe* that anyone who thinks Trump is a nasty joke is left.. but I am afraid that's untrue
And there are Democrats that support him as well thus, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. I know we get to here that popular vote crap. But it is like playing a 50 game schedule and Trump won 30 to Clinton's 20. Sure she won a couple by big scores but still one game out of 50. I don't agree with big cities and the coasts telling the rest of us what to do. And all who think the Clintons are crooks are not just Republicans.
Once he's managed to get us sufficiently tired of paying attention to what he says, we will tend to roll our eyes at what he says; and begin to ignore him.
And then he will be able to slip even more things buy us in addition to the ones that are already weakening our democracy.
