Usually I don't because I' have a junky slow computer plus I'm on dial up. If I log off it takes around 1o minutes to log in and get back to the question page So I just keep the page open and it on;y takes a couple of minutes to load the new question page the next time I'm on AM. Cheers!
We're getting a new deal in Oz that will give everybody access to high speed Internet. I think I'm scheduled to join either next year or in 2019. Honestly, I'd rather stay with my present provider. Service is great and the prices are low.

Nah, I dont log out, I just leave. I dont even know how to log out. When not logged in there is a login prompt, but when logged in there is no 'Log out' link or button; so I expect that is all that is required.
But if you log in from a public terminal you might want to explicitly log out, to keep the pimply-faced nerd who uses the terminal after you from ruining your online reputation by using your account to be rude and idiotic. Ask Just Asking how.
LOL Randy, I framed this question out of curiosity, I always wonder why some muggers are displayed on webpage who don't seem to be Answer mugging;))

Yes, I always log out as I use this PC for so many other things also. Besides, as soon as I choose to do something else? It usually signs me off anyway. I don't like a bunch of programs running when I'm working.
never do but I wonder When I don't log out and leave the site am I still there/here? or has my avatar disappeared?
