I'm right with you; I'm an avid runner, so I know it's been over a decade since one could buy a pair of running shoes that don't resemble a fluorescent discoteque having just regurgitated its inner walls all over a Nike factory. What ever happened to solid black athletic shoes?

It is their small and "ironic" rebellion against the sterile environment of their beloved place of worship: The Apple Store.

That's the only way I ever really express myself.  I always wear grey or black due to various reasons (mainly since I can't match colors right), but my shoes..... those are always the brightest color I can find. This post was edited by fallnhope at March 23, 2017 5:32 PM MDT

If you go with jeans or black pants, you can wear anything with them as a top.

I could, but I'm lazy. It's easier having two distinct colors and not having to worry... I'm always in a rush in the mornings.

When they first started selling them I was worried it would just be a one season thing. But they have stuck around for awhile now. I was very happy.

im relatively easy on shoes, because i  dont wear them if i dont have to...and we've had a very mild winter this year. I havent been looking for new shoes yet...but if theyre out when i do...im going bright again.

Have you seen the shoes, high tops, with LED lights along the edges? They are remotely controlled and can flash and change colors. The manufacture does specify the shoes, though they look like running shoes, are not intended for sports or running (such activity will damage the lights). They are something to see. They are very distracting. They also come in adult sizes.

  • Yes.  I suspect they are for people tripping at clubs.
