Maybe Courts can't MAKE laws but they can UNMAKE them by overturning previous rulings can't they?

  • They can overturn rulings on Constitutionality.   They cannot unmake laws they never created because they do not make laws.
I see by your previous comments on other threads it is about Roe vs. Wade.   However Roe vs. Wade did not make any laws.  It was a ruling about what constitutes a right to privacy.

Doe vs. Bolton was actually a more significant case than  Roe when it comes to abortion being decriminalized.

I support the  legality of abortion 100% but he way it was reached Roe vs.  Wade is pretty shaky and convoluted.

  • If you mean about the actual court cases I suggest you do,  it's actually very interesting and multifaceted how it all came to be and what the ruling was. Beyond a women's rights issue even.
