No sweetnes... it's a horribly counterproductive thing... I wish more people learned to love themselves and to be able to view themselves more accurately - strengths and weaknesses.

  • Achieves what exactly?
One day you'll realise you don't deserve this feelings ... Sure, we all screw up, make mistakes and do things were not proud of maybe ... But learn from them and move on ... One day you will ... Why not make that day today?

  • My fecal father poisoned my entire life.  But to myself much fault is attributed.

I second what WW has said.  You possess a very sharp wit.  I'm sorry you can't seem to throw off those chains that bind you.

  • Thanks. But one may not embrace the good and not acknowledge the bad.

Some things are difficult to overcome without professional help.  If this continues, I suggest you seek someone to help you evaluate whether you are inappropriately assuming some blame that does not belong to you.

  • Thank you, but one must also assess and accept responsibility for one's own faults.

"But" negates everything I said in my reply.---That would be a serious error on anyone's part.---I would accept a statement phrased, "It is also necessary to assess and accept responsibility for one's own faults."---(I assumed that would be done.)---

If multiple causation is suspected, differential diagnosis is necessary----which requires the assignment of blame to the responsible factors---all of which many not reside in you.

  • The citing of "but" is being a bit pedantic.  Yes, perhaps carelessly chosen on my part, any reader though will see the meaning intended.

All my fault? No, certainly not. A great deal is the way my father has poisoned my entire life.

I was only concerned for you here.---

Some people were raised by being shamed and guilted and are therefore prone to thinking that carrying the world on their shoulders is their primary responsibility.---

I'm ecstatic that you do not have that issue---it can be permanently debilitating.---

Keep up your journey; be well.
