Discussion»Questions»Military» If foreign missiles were directed at an American airfield and struck it would that act be a declaration of war? What would it be?
I think Assad will continue to annihilate his people. I don't think Syria is going to attack the U.S., but I wouldn't be at all surprised if Putin and the Iranians start saber rattling.
We sent something like 59 Tomahawk missiles to a Syrian airfield and did a lot of damage. Can they respond in kind? Thank you for your reply Ele and Happy Saturday! :)
Well, given our resources and power, I suspect we would have the luxury of interpreting it as either an act of war or a minor annoyance depending on how we wanted to use it to our advantage.
Considering what the US did to the civilians of Mosul, it would be well merited. Unfortunately, there is currently no-one strong enough to take them on.
So Syria will have to be satisfied with just a lot of talk then Malizz? I wonder what, if anything, Russia will do? Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday to you! :)
Is Syria capable of responding in any drastic/harmful way bh or will Assad just condemn and complain along with Iran, Russia et al? Is Syria toothless response-wise? Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday! :)
