You know what? Envy's never been my thing.. I have often admired people and what they have, i.e I admire women who have lovely thick hair,  I admire tall people etc etc... but not envy and def not envy of possessions...

The root of envy is desire. A good friend told me once that "not all desire leads to human suffering, but at the root of all human suffering is desire."* Desire cannot be eliminated, but we can choose to desire the correct things, like, cultivating the best parts of ourselves rather than observing with envy the things which belong to others. Humility and being truly thankful for what we have, is the antidote to envy.

I don't deal with envy very well. I bury it deep down without really dealing with it.

I'm supposed to be the enforcer. However, I'll take you up on your offer if the opportunity shall arise.
