Did you know that Vermont along with 4 other States have the lowest crime rates? These are States that.......

have implemented a carry firearm law. Citizens can legally carry on person firearms, and the State of Vermont charges no fee's. Since the implementation of the right to carry firearms, the State has recorded a lower crime rate.  Rape 5%, murder 8.5%, assault 7%, robbery 3%.  Criminals that do these different crimes all admit that they're scared of the risk of retaliation of the same deadly force. and being shot themselves.  Criminals that commit these acts rely on gun control advocates, they're cowards that use guns on unarmed people.

I have never heard of a Danish rapist who used a gun. But we do have rapists, murderers, etc. Just a lot fewer than the US. It would seem that other factors are more important than guns ;-))

Yes. There has been a steady decline in all states that enacted concealed carry laws since 1992.

Yep that's what happens when we allow people to defend themselves.

Bahama, all but six states  allow open-carry.  It was the default.  States who didn't want to allow it had to codify that.  Florida banned it a long time ago and now they are trying to open it back up.  It failed last year by one vote.  It'll hit the floor again this year.  Texas has always allowed open carry of rifles but banned handguns.  Last time I checked they were trying to pass legislation to open carry handguns too.  I don't know where they are now.

That happens in smaller, rural states with no large urban centers.

All but six states allow open carry, most without even a permit.  That was the default in the common law.  I posted a map in my answer.

That's nice. Vermont is the size of New York City.    What other states?  I'm loving your reporting techniques.  What other states?   Plus I need a site, not your memory.  I need to see why.  Not some fake nonsense you pulled off the net.

Show me the FACTS not what you think you read.  What states? Wyoming?  Population One?

    LOL

How long has this "implementation" existed in Vermont versus how long it did not?  Rape 5 percent versus WHAT from before?  You see, I don't see many young women carrying guns to ward off attackers when they are walking around getting date raped in bars.

This is total hogwash OF COURSE.

Vermont. They voted in that "Crazy Burnie Sanders" guy to the Senate. I think I would choose some other state to commit a crime.

    Corellation = Causation Fallacy.

    http://www.politifact.com/florida/statements/2015/oct/09/matt-gaetz/violent-crime-lower-states-open-carry/

Note: I actually favor open carry but oppose concealed carry. If we're going to be an armed society, let's be an armed society. If the guy in the next bar stool wants to pick a fight with me over whether Joe Furbeets or Chris Whodat is the better baseball pitcher, I want to be aware that he might settle the argument with his penis shortcoming compensator.

SQN, the population doesn't matter because they're posting the results of after the enactment of the law, as opposed to before they implemented it. rape 5% lower after implementation, You don't understand that? Wow! Smoke another joint, lol.

If guns don't prevent crimes then why are all the mass shootings at gun free zones and not at gun shows or in places where guns can be carried at sporting events?

Chicago has high crime and strict gun laws.

There are over 100 murders in the county next to mine. (Kansas City, MO) We have maybe 5 per year. 9The populations are evenly split at just over 1 million on each side of the metro.) Why? because we can carry open/concealed without a permit or license.

The invisible line between the counties does not stop the criminals. The criminals do not want to come into our county. Each time they do the victim shoots back.

The last time was four guys tried to rob a gun shop (of all places). They got shot. Now their in jail for life.

Then why do the criminal go for the gun free zones? Why not go after Billy Bob with the bulge on the side of his hip or rob gun shows where there are hundreds of people with lots of cash?

*Bernie Sanders. Next time, Google someone's name if you're not sure of the spelling. Just as easy to get it right as wrong.

    Hello deaves:

Criminals aren't as smart as you give them credit for..  They SEE 7/Eleven.  They NEED money.  They HAVE gun. They ROB said 7/Eleven.  What they DON'T do is consult a map first.

Having said that, I wanna SEE where criminals ADMIT that they're SCARED of retaliation..  To further your argument, that IS what you said, isn't it?  Till now, I've taken you seriously.  Should I stop?

Vermont slogan: "Vermont--Naturally" translated: 92% white people, serving dickinish right up on a silver platter. It comes with a side dish of snootiness.

Shall I go on? You get the picture.

Sharonna I put a map in my answer.  Legally openly carrying a firearm is the default in the USA; it always has been, regardless of what you hear on NBC et al.  Only six states currently have a restriction on it.  A few states require a permit to openly carry.  Arizona allows it and does not require a permit.  Don't you see guys with guns on their hips on a daily basis?

That's right.  And chipping away at the Constitution, taking away Americans' rights, and attempting to remove guns from law-abiding people will do nothing to curb criminal activity.
