Apparently allegedly when Trump talked about the armada it was 3500 miles away heading in the opposite direction. That report has to be a mistake. Right?
He referred to the US military as "my" military. Perhaps he is confused about how to go forward rather than in reverse when you a in charge of steering an aircraft carrier.
I am a Marine Corps veteran who served aboard various US Navy ships over the years during my active duty time. It is not uncommon for a vessel or a group of vessels to be diverted from their planned course and sent elsewhere. That's part and parcel for a worldwide military force: to be prepared for action whenever and wherever needed. Think of it as being on patrol in one area, action takes place somewhere else, and the patrol is sent to check it out.
There's no cause for undue alarm, there just no story here.
