    Personally I have no need to make such things......there are plenty of willing hands ready to make whatever smamwich my heart desires ....hehe.

    No.  I've never seen an adult do it, but finger sandwiches generally do not still have the crust.  I'm hungry right now and this made me think tuna salad might be a good idea for tonight.

    I like to eat the crust off first. I think it tastes good and it just peels right off..most of the time..

    No - it's wasteful!

    I don't know where this fashion came from but I associate it with the slightly snootier types. Perhaps it slows the curling of sandwiches served in informal buffets.
