  • I just bought a small container Baskin Robbins Jamoca Almond Fudge at the grocery store (didn't know such a thing existed). It was delish :)

Ice cream season just ended, and Adelaide has a Mediterranean climate - never rains in summer, never stops raining in winter - so no stargazing for me until the clouds clear.
Southern Hemisphere - under the Southern Cross I stand ...

Some Aussies do a thing called "Christmas In July" but I don't bother. I'm fifth generation (or thousandth generation, depending on which branch of the family tree you follow - one great-great-great grandmother was aborigine), so 100 degrees on Christmas Day seems normal to me. How could I have a Christmas BBQ on the beach otherwise?

  • YES!! I'm big into Italian ice. Good stuff and it quenches your thirst. Ice Cream not so much.

I am beyond ready for ice cream.... But now the weather needs to cooperate.

Our weather channel said we got a total of at least 4" of snow, but it could've been more since the wind was going.

Ice cream season? Ice cream has no season. In my house, we eat ice cream all year long. This post was edited by my2cents at May 1, 2017 8:52 AM MDT
