Did you see on the news when Kim Jong Pigface saw one of our submarines parked in a South Korean port,

he said he would turn them into underwater ghosts? They already ARE underwater ghosts. That's how we build them... they can't be found.

You find them by detecting their wake.

Only when they surface...which is very rare. They can stay submerged for months and only go to periscope depth to report updates and get accurate GPS fixes on their positions. Once submerged, they are almost impossible to detect.

  • He couldn't find one of our Subs no matter what they tried. The only boats that are really hard to find are the diesel-electric boats. North Korea doesn't have the ships nor the technology to find our Subs and just one of them could flatten Pyongyang. More big talk is all it is. ONE of our Tridents or Poseidens carries at least 10 MIRVS (separate targeted warheads.) Two missiles could take out the whole country.

    Nope ... missed that news.

However, I did see the story that India will have nuclear-powered ballistic missile subs within the next couple years.
    THAT will be interesting.
