    The number of glaciers left in Yellowstone National Park.

    I don't know why the alphabet came to mind, but it may be days (or at least hours) before I can think of anything else (without googling it as I did the glacier answer).

    The alphabet answer has crowded any other association with "26" that I might have in my head.
