Every time you hear yet another story of how someone's own Facebook postings have backfired in their face, aren't you glad you never signed

up for that nonsense?

    I've never needed or wanted FB, and leave Twitter to national presidents.

    I can keep in touch with relatives and friends easily enough, sometimes by e-post but more often without the Internet. (Though my sisters have occasionally ticked me off for leaving my portable 'phone, which has no Internet access anyway, switched off more than on!) 

    The clubs to which I belong have their own web-sites; and the hobbies they support have specialist fora. [Bloody Mickeysoft! Took two attempts to stop it changing that to "for a"!]

    I do know the dangers into which Facebook lures users; but also know its real, commercial purpose so I don't like to help it!
