Should I even ask about guns?
Since it is high security, I'm sure all weapons will be banned, including nun-chucks, clubs, swords, battle axes, ETC. This will be the call of the Cleveland Police, not the Republican Party. There will be a perimeter you must get through to attend. There will be police snipers up on top, a strict "no-fly" zone, and all kinds of anti-terrorist tactics in place.

I'm just wondering if ID is going to be required to get into the Democrat convention?
You're beating a dead horse.
Guns are not allowed inside the convention. Ohio law does not allow any restrictions on those who legally carry a gun, openly or concealed, outside the convention center.
Next subject.
Incorrect.
They are banned inside the convention center, that is true. The subject has been beat to death already. Ohio law doesn't allow banning guns being carried openly or concealed with permits outside of the center. That seams to be drawing a lot of press, regardless of the real news of the past few days. Anything to push an agenda.
You will go nowhere in the country where guns are not banned in certain places. That has passed the court's muster. I don't have a problem myself with guns not being allowed inside the convention. You know the paid agitators will be there just trying to get someone to fire a gun and make it all about being the candidate's fault. I hope if anything like that happens it is outside where people may be armed. You are arguing with me and I'm not arguing with you. What is up with that? I support the Second Amendment too.
I corrected my initial statement when I realized you were talking about inside the convention center. So I thought I cleared that up. I do support the rights we have under the second amendment. I'm very vocal about that.
