Long ago a celebrity whose name I do not recall said "I don't want to be a role model". Do you? Why?

I'd be happy to be a role model.. i think I sorta am... in lots of ways.. lots of quite ordinary people are and that's not being bigheaded just saying that it can be an inspiration.. 

Methink Charles Barkley said it and just as well. He should be nobody's role model.

Well, whether I am or not is something I probably can't control---but one could do worse than emulate a few of the things I do well.  (A number of people have and it has proven to be a good choice for them.)

i dont think i would want to be one either
