    Did he do that after the body slam incident?
    I knew Gianforte would start to come out of all this a hero.
    Strange - - my brain is simultaneously thinking "I don't get it" and " Yeah, I understand how this is happening."

    Trump doesn't shill for anybody, he's the one his buddies shill for, nobody's patsy.

    Gianforte is a thug and a bully, so Trump sees in him a kindred spirit. It's normal for a leader to promote his party's candidate, Obama did precisely the same for Hillary. The difference is that Gianforte is guilty of felony assault, while Hill was merely guilty of carelessness.

    He'll probably get up, though. Jesse Ventura was elected Governor of Minnesota, and he used to bodyslam people for a living.

    It seems the guy he body-slammed is a Political Journalist for The Guardian, A Left Wing newspaper.

    So naturally Gianforte must be a hero for slamming him ;-))
