Regarding Trump. Are Republicans still pleading with us to "give the guy a chance"? When did they give Obama a chance?

Good point.. and he has HAD  a chance.. all he has done so far is throw hissy fits at the press and alienated and irritated the leaders of other countries - oh and he's taken loads of weekend breaks.

Nah, they have mostly resigned to him being an undisciplined impulse follower and are waiting for his term to end. So they can try with someone else. It is going to be hard though, they have lost a good bit of credibility after nominating him. It may even be that the next president will be a Democrats, elected 'by default' because of him.

"Can you trust the media", is the correct question. I get weekly surveys from the Trump administration, and the questions are very much proper and fitting for leadership to be asking. If the media circus would get serious about the facts, you haters couldn't take cheap shots at Trump. I have never seen so many cheap shots taken.

I never expected the left to give Trump a chance nor do I think he is entitled to one. Trump has a fundamentally different world view to the left. I expected the left to fight.
