If someone shook their head and said, "There are a lot of crooks in this world." Would you think they are trustworthy or not trustworthy?

Does "It takes one to know one" apply in that situation or would someone knowing the difference assure that they
are not a crook?

  • Too little information to make an assessment on.  And the saying, "Takes one..." is nonsense.  One would not have to be child abuser or murder to see those actions in others.
