It's very satisfying when you can do things on your own and don't have to inconvenience /rely on others. Isn't it?

You jog alone or swim or hike or fish on your own. You don't need anyone else there. You can't play basketball or tennis or soccer alone. Do you prefer doing things on your own alone so you don't burden others or impose on them? Do you mind it when others burden/impose on you?

    Very satisfying...but I teach myself to play tennis using one of those green backboards with a white line on it. I couldn't find any opponents to play though except one. He had no chance.
