    Lasana?---that would be like serving it without the noodles.  

    Never heard that one before, but it's a good one.  The one I remember is "Silent, just like the P in bed."

  • The "g" isn't useless; it orthographically represents the palatalization of the following "n".

    The G is an Italian tilde. In Spanish it would be lasaña.
