Mike Pence doesn't accept climate science. Supported Trump withdrawal from the Paris Accord. He is a simple man. Is simple good in a veep?

Okay. So he doesn't believe in it. But he seems genuinely confused about why other people are so worried about it. Says he "it's been a goal of the liberal left in this country to advance a climate change agenda". He got that right. It's true. But he doesn't quite get why people care about the climate crisis for some reason. He doesn't think it's anything to be concerned with. Now with all the conversations and reports and headlines and effort for years and years to protect the environment can he really be that out of touch with WHY? What else is he out of touch with I wonder? As I said....for a veep or dare I say possible future prez..is Mike Pence being a very simple man comforting to you?

He's not a megalomaniac, just stupid. Dubya was stupid, but not too difficult to manipulate - hopefully Pence will be similar. The US has had its share of dumb Presidents. Any change from Trump can only be for the better - exit Donald, enter Mickey.

The Paris Accord? Is that some new stylish Honda Sedan?  Pence rides a motorcycle often, so he IS doing his part to reduce greenhouse gas emmisions.  He gets like 50+ MPG.

Thank you for your reply bh. What kind of motorcyle? I doubt that his purpose has anything at all to do with environmental concerns or using less gas. He is a very gassy guy isn't? He is probably a cheapskate and wants to get around the cheapest way he can. If he were SERIOUSLY concerned with the environment he would ride a bicycle or WALK. Can you see him doing that? Me too neither.  Happy Monday.

Mike Pence is Trump's guarantee that Trump won't get impeached.    Imagine having this puppet take over?

All he is is Trump's pawn.   He's even more sickening.   And simple, is as simple does.   He's a simpleton.

We could not IMAGINE Trump being president, and yet here he is.   We could not imagine what he would do and yet, his doings surpass anything we could have made up.

I fear the same with Pence.  You cannot imagine what a stupid, ignorant dolt with Trump's cabinet in place will do.

We had a sampling with Bush, and if you don't remember Bush?   He was HORRENDOUS.  That is what got Obama elected in the first place.  Now the Republican'ts are trying with their money and their power, which is insane right now, to ensure they never have to worry about securing any future elections.

They did something to THIS election.   Trump should not be President.  They will continue on their dirty, nefarious way until this country looks more like Putin runs it.  It already does.  Defecting to Russia might be an upgrade.

Pence is stump dumb, but no worse than Dubya and the US survived him. The current administration is a bit like that one in reverse - this time the Prez is evil incarnate instead of the Veep being so.

The US BARELY survived Bush.   Barely.  We were in the worst economic slump ever, and we had a leader that had nothing on his mind.   But boozing and hiding.

That situation was something that would have gotten much worse, if McCain or Romney would have been elected.   (I would prefer either to Trump, but not really much better)

Obama did his best and all he did for 8 years was fight the Republicans in the House and Senate who tried to destroy any hope that he put in place, just because it was a Democrat, Black President.

They will cut off their noses to spite their faces.  They do not care what works.  As long as they can spend their fat lives sitting at a desk making the rules.

Trump?   All he is, is a joke.   But that joke represents the truth of the matter.   Voting for anyone anymore is FIXED.

It was peeps NOT voting that got Trump in. A "yuge" swathe of registered voters (itself only a fraction of those eligible to register) didn't take Trump seriously, thought Clinton was a slam dunk so didn't bother to show up and vote.

I do not agree.  That is the pat answer.  People were scared to death that this pig would get in.

The same number of people voted as normal.   Of course most of them sit on their asses, but that does not account for the quick and easy win this pig had.

He was already nominated before half the day was over.   That NEVER EVER happens, especially when the candidate was as unpopular as this joke was.

It was rigged.  I know it was.   I'm not blind.

Is that so hard to believe?   So was Georgie's last election.   Probably the first one as well.
