What do you do when you are determined to get rid of leftovers?

Make them into a pie.  Make them into an omelette.  Or throw it out for the birds.

Leftovers?  I've heard of those, but I've never actually seen one.

They don't call me the garbage disposal for nothing.

The trash can is conveniently located close to the refrigerator for just such an emergency.

I usually cook enough for two meals when it's just me here.  That way I don't have leftovers beyond a day or two.  I don't feel bad to discard them though.

Never a problem when you have a Staffy.

I make chili often and I can throw just about anything into it.  

I'll often eat something 2 or 3 days running.  Beyond that, Friday is scraps night and the pups appreciate whatever is left.

there's almost never any leftovers around here, unless it was not a very good meal in the beginning. that rarely happens, but in that case i usually store them in the fridge until it's time to take out the garbage. i don't like smelling room temperature, decomposing leftovers inside the house. blech! buuuut... if the leftovers are pure vegetation, and not meat, i'll toss them outside to compost.

if its stuff i havent opened yet i just leave it for my neighbors downstairs
