Do you hide a key where it could easily be discovered?

I have a 'Hide-a-Key' thingy. It looks like a rock. It is still sitting on the desk.

No, I have always worried about that.. a friend, or ex-friend has a key-safe thing with a combination.. that seems fairly sensible... but I'd worry about keys under mats, or in flowerpots etc.. they could easily be found.. lol on the other hand i've been known to go out n leave the front door wide open all day and no one's bothered to try to steal anything..so perhaps i worry needlessly
