    If the issue has been mentioned or discussed among the group and everyone knows everyone else's perspective, there is always a possibility that some people harbor their own opinions and others glom onto the group's side. That's human nature, it's psychologically probable, it's sociology. 

    Too broad a question to give a definitive black-or-white answer.
