  • Number 8 would probably fit now but one that isn't mentioned is I'm a light sleeper all these years later after grueling combat. The old"sleep with one eye open" syndrome. It's stayed with me ever since. Very light sleeper!

    I don't know if it's always the same reasons for either.  There are nights when I seem to hear every sound outside and the other day, I slept though jackhammering under my bedroom window when they were replacing the sidewalk.
