POLL: if you cleaned out your bank accounts right now and went on the lam, how far would you get?

A. About 10 miles from where I live.

B. Halfway across town.

C. Clear to the next county, state, province, prefecture, etc.

D. Across the nearest international border.

E. Two countries away.

F. Around the world.

G. To the furthest reaches of the planet.

H. Just within the extent of AnswerMug coverage. I can't stand the thought of losing contact with you, Randolph D.

I. Just beyond the extent of AnswerMug coverage. You'll never find me, Randall D.

J. My bank accounts?  I'd better stay where I am; I can barely afford to buy a bus token.

K. Nice try. You can't get rid of me that easily, and NO, you can't have my bedroom.

L. Two or more of the above.

M. None of the above/other answer.

    M.  If I were to liquidate my assets and move to Equador, I could live like a Queen for the rest of my life.

M, I'd struggle to get even to the end of the road.. i have no money for the bus, so I wouldn't even get half way across town.. Need to renew my passport too as it expires in August so probably won't be going far!

But be warned.. I am working on a plan to become less living from hand to mouth.... and they let me into the States once... so....

As far as I wanted to.  On Earth.  I have no desire to leave the planet.

That's perfect, Honeybunch. The restraining order you reluctantly filed against me only covers the 1,000 meter radius around your home here. We'll be cozy and comfy together in this da Cunha place.

I'm counting on the fact that you don't know where it is and can't afford to get there anyway. And, I'm not your Honeybunch.

Not exactly a new thought with me. Being that I have a mobile welding service, cash & credit, I'm certain I could make money,  sustain myself,  and be "on the lam" indefinitely.  My drill sergeant father taught me wilderness extreme survival skills and guerrilla tactics starting at age 7. I'd likely head the direction of Canada and the Klondike. The less humans, the better. It could be the final chapter, in fact. Why the hell not?
